U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) investing in Bitcoin recorded a net capital outflow of $514.2 million during the first two trading sessions of November 2026, which is nearly equal to the outflow for the entire month of October, according to data from the analytical platform Farside Investors as of November 4.

Specifically, on November 2, investors withdrew $398.6 million from the funds, and on November 3, another $115.6 million.

The largest outflow was recorded by the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), managed by BlackRock. Over two days, the fund lost $500.3 million in net capital, of which $405.3 million occurred on November 2.

Meanwhile, on November 3, the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) recorded an outflow of $52.6 million. Positive inflows on that day were seen in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (+$21.9 million), the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (+$6.8 million), and the Morgan Stanley fund (+$3.3 million).

Capital outflows from Bitcoin ETFs have continued for the third consecutive trading session. Including October 30, when the funds lost $643.2 million, the cumulative outflow over three trading days reached $1.157 billion.

By comparison, in September, net capital inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs totaled approximately $2.6 billion, while in October, the funds lost about $515 million.

Thus, institutional demand for Bitcoin has weakened significantly in recent weeks.

According to data from the analytical service TFTC, as of November 3, the total net asset value of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at approximately $99.2 billion. At the same time, the cumulative net capital inflow since the launch of these instruments in January 2024 exceeded $56 billion.

ETF performance is one of the key indicators of demand for Bitcoin from institutional and retail investors who use regulated exchange-traded instruments instead of purchasing the cryptocurrency directly.

Outflows from these funds may intensify pressure on the market, as redemptions under certain conditions are accompanied by transactions involving the underlying assets. At the same time, flow statistics alone do not allow us to determine the reasons behind investors’ decisions.

As of early November, additional sources of uncertainty for the crypto market include the security situation at major cryptocurrency platforms, expectations regarding U.S. monetary policy, and the overall dynamics of demand for risky assets.

Further changes in capital flows into ETFs could become one of the key indicators of a potential recovery in Bitcoin prices following the October decline.
