Russia rejects debt restructuring

Russian officials declared yesterday that they reject the terms of the debt exchange operation offered by Ukraine and expect the scheduled repayment at the end of December. Yesterday's exchange vote could be successful for some if not all Eurobonds except, of course, for the Russian bond maturing this December. We expect to hear the results today at 10:00 Kyiv time when the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance will have a press conference, as announced yesterday.
