Inflows into U.S. Bitcoin ETFs Approached $1 Billion in a Single Day—an 11-Month High

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $998.95 million in net inflows during a single trading session, marking the highest daily figure in nearly 11 months.
According to data from SoSoValue cited by The Block, this amount flowed into Bitcoin ETFs on Monday, September 21. This is the highest figure since October 6, 2025.
The main recipient of capital was BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which attracted $381.4 million.
In second place was the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) with inflows of $289.1 million, followed by the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) in third place, which received $238.8 million. Positive inflows were also recorded in funds managed by Grayscale, Bitwise, and Morgan Stanley.
The sharp influx of institutional capital coincided with a recovery in Bitcoin prices. The cryptocurrency briefly rose above $87,000 at the start of the week, after which it pulled back slightly.
By comparison, the aggregate performance of U.S. Bitcoin ETFs over the previous week was close to zero. The return of nearly $1 billion in a single trading session was one of the most notable signs of a recovery in demand from institutional investors.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs allow investors to invest in Bitcoin through traditional exchange infrastructure without having to store the cryptocurrency themselves. Since their launch in the U.S. in January 2024, these funds have become one of the main channels for institutional capital inflows into the cryptocurrency market.
Of particular importance to the market is BlackRock’s IBIT, which in recent years has become the largest U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF by assets under management.
The resumption of significant inflows into the ETF followed a prolonged period of high volatility in the crypto market. Bitcoin had previously experienced a substantial correction after reaching all-time highs, which was accompanied by a decline in activity among some institutional investors.
A daily inflow of nearly one billion does not yet guarantee the formation of a sustainable trend. To assess its duration, the balance of inflows and outflows from the ETF over the next few trading sessions will be key.
