Motor Sich says order book exceeds USD 0.9 bln

Motor Sich’s (MSICH UK) order book exceeded USD 900 mln as of start-2013, according to a company representative on Jan. 22, as reported by Interfax. The company’s order backlog, therefore, grew 12% yoy compared to USD 800 mln as of start-2012.



Roman Dmytrenko: We expect the company will report its 2012 sales rose 17% yoy to USD 850 mln, or 6% above the company’s order book as of the year’s start. The increase was fueled by additional contracts the company gained during the year. 2013 revenue most likely will surpass its announced order backlog again due to boosted demand for Motor Sich-powered An-148s from the Russian Defense Ministry and other Russian state agencies.
