Banking sector liquidity recovered UAH1.21bn to UAH96.24bn as the week began, with banks' correspondent accounts with the NBU increased UAH0.94bn to UAH42.32bn and total CDs outstanding was up UAH0.27bn to UAH53.92bn yesterday.

Investment implications: Liquidity hit the lowest level of this month last Monday at UAH93.92bn only to rise slightly to UAH96.24bn yesterday. The NBU made some injections via the FX market and loans, Apparently the main source for the increase. Month-end tax payments most likely were paid last week with little impact on liquidity. This week should be mostly stable with little volatility.
