The Ukrainian Exchange fell for the third straight day on Wednesday as concern remained high about the European debt crisis and its effect on the CEE region. The UX erased another 1.2% yesterday. Warsaw’s WIG-Ukraine dropped 1.9%. The worst performers on that platform were Coal Energy (CLE PW) -2.9% and Astarta (AST PW) -2.9%. In London, Cadogan Petroleum (CAD LN) bounced 5.3% off a two-year low to GBp 17.5. Ferrexpo (FXPO LN), meanwhile, slumped 4.7% after reporting its 3Q operational results yesterday. We expect another negative session today, following losses in Asia and Russia already this morning.
