Traders returned to selling mode on Thursday, May 14. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks dropped 1.8%, pulled down by sugar maker Astarta (AST PW -4.7%). Outside the Index, natural gas E&P Serinus Energy (SEN PW) plunged 14.5% after reporting a first-quarter loss. It had risen 8.7% in the prior four sessions. In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN), slid 4.1%. Other London shares extended their see-saw volatility, including natural gas E&P Regal Petroleum (RPT LN +20.6%) and egg producer Avangardco (AVGR LI -5.4%). The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks decreased 0.2%, pulled down by Avdiyivka Coke (AVDK UK -2.5%).
