Trading was mixed & mild for Ukrainian equities on Monday, April 20. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks slipped 0.6%. Grain trader Kernel (KER PW) was down 0.9%. Sugar maker Astarta (AST PW) continued its current trend of remaining flat. Also loosing on the day wer coal miners Sadovaya Group (SGR PW -6.3%), and Coal Energy (CLE PW -4.6%). The only bright spot on the day in Warsaw was Industrial Milk Company (IMC PW) gaining 3.5%. In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) edged up 0.7%. Poultry giant MHP (MHPC LI) was flat while egg giant Avangardco (AVGR LI) fell 9.9% on the day. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks was down 0.3%. Oil and gas company Ukrnafta (UNAF UK) was about the only mover of the day falling 3.3%.
