The local UX index retreated 0.6% on Wednesday, with the biggest declines in Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK) -3.3% and Donbasenergo (DOEN UK) -3.4%. Global equity markets were mixed yesterday on continuing concerns about China’s economic growth and the Euro debt crisis. Warsaw’s WIG-Ukraine index rose 0.5% on the back of gains in Sadovaya Group (SGR PW), which lept up 10.9%, and Milkiland (MLK PW), which added 4.2%. In London, most Ukrainian stocks were lower over the session, including Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) -6.6% and MHP (MHPC LI) -3.4%.
