Warsaw’s WIG-Ukraine index gained on Friday, as Ukrainian equities continued to benefit from bets on EU stimulus action. The WIG-Ukraine rose 0.2%, putting its two-day streak at +1.6%. Only four of the index’s 10 components moved higher though, led by Coal Energy (CLE PW) +4.2% and Agroton (AGT PW) +3.0%. The local UX index also finished in positive territory, +0.1%, though only half of the 10 local blue chips closed up. Meanwhile, in London, most Ukrainian equities advanced, including Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) +4.4%, Regal Petroleum (RPT LN) +3.1% and MHP (MHPC LI) +2.5%.
