Ukrainian stocks concluded the week in a slump on Friday, May 13. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks fell 0.4%, concluding the week at a 1.8% loss. The index was weighed down by food companies Ovostar (OVO PW, -1.3%) and Milkiland (MLK PW, -1.1%). Out of the index, KDM Shipping (KDM PW) plunged 9.8%, or 18.6% in two sessions, to its lowest price since its August 2012 IPO. In London, iron ore miner and pellet maker Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) slid 7.0%, finishing the week at a 10.8% loss. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks rose 0.5%, concluding the week at a 0.3% increase. Power generator Donbasenergo (DOEN UK) increased 0.1%, extending its win streak to four sessions at a 14.3% gain.
