Ukrainian equities concluded the week with a selloff on Friday, Nov. 13. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks dropped 3.1% to finish the week at a 6.9% decline. Sugar producer Astarta (AST PW) plummeted 5.9% to conclude the week at a 12.1% drop. Outside the index, natural gas E&P Serinus Energy (SEN PW) slid 3.8%, finishing the week at a 14.7% plunge. In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner and pellet maker Ferrexpo (FXPO LN), plummeted 10.3%, concluding the week at a 5.4% loss. The volatile shares of egg producer Avangardco (AVGR LI) jumped 10.0% to finish the week at a 36.9% gain. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks increased 0.5%, concluding the week at a 3.4% drop. Steel maker Yenakiyeve Steel (ENMZ UK) rose 3.1% on Friday, finishing the week the same way. Steel maker Azovstal (AZST UK) decreased 0.6%, or 11.1% for the week, to conclude at its lowest level since March 2009.
