Investors concluded the week mostly selling on Friday, Sept. 11. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks slid 0.9%, concluding the week at a 1.0% loss. The index was weighed down by sugar producer Astarta (AST PW), which dropped 4.7%, or 5.5% in three straight negative sessions. It finished the week at a 6.3% loss. Its biggest component, grain trader and sunflower oil trader Kernel (KER PW), improved 2.0%, concluding the week at a 2.5% gain. In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner and pellet maker Ferrexpo (FXPO LN), decreased 1.3%, or 7.9% in two sessions, finishing the week at a 5.1% drop. Natural gas E&P Regal Petroleum (RPT LN) plunged 8.5%, concluding the week at a 16.1% loss. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks declined 0.4%, finishing the week at a 0.8% gain. Avdiyivka Coke (AVDK UK +0.8%) has risen 10.7% in six straight positive sessions.
