Ukrainian equities concluded the week on the upswing on Friday, Nov. 14 after a nine-session selloff. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks rose 1.0%, finishing the week at a 2.1% loss. Its biggest component, grain trader and sunflower oil producer Kernel (KER PW +2.7%) has advanced 5.9% in two sessions, concluding the week at a 2.7% gain. Farmer Agroton (AGT PW -4.0%) finished the week at a 4.6% drop.



In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner and pellet maker Ferrexpo (FXPO LN +1.3%), concluded the week at a 1.2% loss. Egg producer Avangardco (AVGR LI) collapsed 17.7% on Friday (with no visible triggers for that), hitting its lowest price since its April 2010 IPO. Poultry producer MHP (MHPC LI +3.7%) has gained 7.8% in two sessions, finishing the week at a 1.4% gain. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks improved 3.0%, concluding the week at a 9.3% drop. Oil producer Ukrnafta (UNAF UK + 7.6%) snapped a six-session loss streak, during which it fell 21.3%.
