Ukrainian equities kicked off the week in robust demand on Monday, June 23. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks rose 0.6%, extending its win streak to four sessions at a 2.5% gain. Its biggest component, grain trader and sunflower oil producer Kernel (KER PW +1.9%), has improved 3.9% in two sessions. On the downside, car battery maker WESTA (WES PW) approached its one-year low by plunging 8.7%. Dairy producer Milkiland (MLK PW) plunged 4.3%. Outside the Index, oil & gas explorer Serinus Energy (SEN PW -2.9%) has fallen 3.9% in two sessions. In London, the most actively traded stock, iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN), increased 2.0%. Regal Petroleum (RPT LN) jumped 9.7% and Europe’s top egg producer Avangardco (AVGR LI) surged 9.2% after plummeting 10.6% in the prior session. In Frankfurt, Mriya Agriholding (MAYA GF) shot up 5.2%. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks rose 0.9%, fueled by Alchevsk Steel (ALMK UK +2.7%). Outside the Index, Kryukiv Railcar (KVBZ UK) rose 3.9%.
