Ukrainian equities wrapped up a plummeting week with another round of dumped shares on Friday, Jan. 24. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks slid 1.0%, finishing the week at a 2.6% loss. Its biggest component, grain trader Kernel (KER PW -2.7%), has decreased 4.5% in two sessions. Car battery maker WESTA (WES PW -4.2%) has dropped 8.0% in three straight negative sessions. Farmer Agroton (AGT PW -1.3%) has plunged 15.4% in three straight losing sessions. In London, iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN -2.5%) extended its losing streak to 10.9% in five straight declining sessions. Bank of Georgia (BGEO LN) plummeted 6.0%, concluding the week at a 7.3% drop. The Ukrainian Exchange Index of Kyiv-traded stocks decreased 2.0%, finishing the week at a 7.8% loss. Engine maker Motor Sich (MSICH UK -3.2%) has plunged 13.9% in five straight negative sessions.
