Ukrainian equities offered investors big gains and losses in trading on Thursday, November 14. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks dropped 1.3%,, pulled down by the plummeting shares of car battery maker WESTA (WES PW -7.4%), which have lost 10.0% in two sessions. In London, real estate firm DUPD (DUPD LN) plunged 7.4%, falling 9.9% in three straight negative sessions. Iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN -4.6%) has lost 10.2% in four straight declining sessions. The top gainers were egg producer Avangard (AVGR LI +3.1%) and Bank of Georgia (BGEO LN +2.9%), which has advanced 7.9% in three straight positive sessions. BGEO stock is at its all-time high since its February 2012 IPO. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks rose 0.6%, led by Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK +2.8%), which has increased 4.5% in three straight gaining sessions. Outside the Index, Ukrtelecom (UTLM UK) plunged 5.2%.
