Ukrainian equities concluded a slow week with a sputter on Friday, November 8. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw-traded stocks rose 0.5%, finishing the week at a 1.5% gain. Dairy firm Milkiland (MLK PW) plunged 4.1%, concluding the week at a 5.1% loss. The Index’s most liquid stock, grain trader Kernel (KER PW +1.8%), finished the week at a 3.6% advance. Regal Petroleum (RPT LN +4.9%) has risen 10.3% in two sessions, concluding the week at an 8.5% gain. The most liquid Ukrainian stock, iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO LN -3.0%), finished the week at a 4.9% increase. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) Index of Kyiv-traded stocks slid 0.1%, concluding the week at a 1.1% advance. The biggest mover was Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK -1.9%), which finished the week at a 2.3% gain.
