Banks once more decreased the amount of funds invested in CDs as total CDs outstanding fell UAH0.80bn to UAH72.17bn yesterday while banks' correspondent accounts rose UAH0.73bn to UAH38.67bn. With this reallocation, banking sector liquidity slid a mere UAH0.07bn to UAH110.84bn.

Investment implications: Liquidity declined slightly as banks' accounts increased most likely in preparation for budget payments and FX purchases. Total liquidity should continue to decline through the end of the month with slight volatility.
