Ukrainian stocks enjoyed strong demand on Tuesday, April 22. The WIG Ukraine Index of Warsaw traded stocks rose 3.3%, led by its biggest component, Kernel (KER PW), which gained 4.3%. Agroton (AGT PW) surged 18.1%, followed by Coal Energy (CLE PW) at 9.4%. Other big gainers were KSG Agro (KSG PW +6.0%) and Sadovaya Group (SGR PW + 4.9%). In London, the most actively traded Ukrainian stock, Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) rose 3.2%. Cadogan Patroleum (CAD LN) jumped 6.8%. The Ukrainian Exchange (UX) index of Kyiv traded stocks rose 2.1%, driven by Donbasenergo (DOEN UK + 8.2%), whose dividend payout may increase 1.6x compared to what the market had earlier expected, and Avdiivka Coke (AVDK UK + 4.6%).
