At the end of last week, liquidity reversed mildly, up UAH0.28bn to UAH97.62bn as banks' correspondent accounts with the NBU rose UAH0.46bn to UAH36.12bn and total CDs outstanding declined UAH0.18bn to UAH61.50bn on Friday. This reallocation and slight increase most likely was supported by a strengthening of the local currency and NBU injections via FX purchases. However, liquidity should continue to decline through the end of the month as Wednesday is the last day of month-end tax payments.
