Initial reports indicate that the industrial production index in November declined from the previous month by 1.7% and 4.9% from the same month a year ago. However, in seasonally adjusted terms the IP index rose 0.5% from the previous month and has visibly stabilized over the past few months following the steep contraction seen during 1H15. Considering data collected since October, the upcoming fourth quarter could register another real GDP increase of up to 1% QoQ in seasonally adjusted terms with full-year real GDP forecast to decline 11.5% YoY.
